Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, "Let's Play, Boys" Vinyl Album

In the late 60's Bob Wills gave these original recordings to his drummer, Casey Dickens. Not a lot is known about these sessions, but they were recorded in 1949 for a radio special. Tommy Duncan had left the band a year earlier so Wills sang lead on most of these tracks.

In 2012, the Oklahoma Historical Society received a grant from the Grammy Foundation to salvage and restore the discs. This 12-song vinyl album is the culmination of this collective effort.
